Now the problem of getting a train ticket will end. Unregistered tickets will also be booked from the mobile app. The Railway Ministry said in a statement that Season and Platform tickets can also be issued through this app.
Also bookings history will also be able to see the user here. The 'utsonmobile' mobile application has been developed by the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS). It will work with Android as well as Windows Phone. Users can download it from Google Play Store and Window Store for free.
The user must first have to register himself in the app first. It has to provide information about the mobile number, name, city, train type, class, ticket type, number of passenger and frequent routes to travel. After registration, the railway wallet will be automatically activated. No extra charge will be given to the user.
Users of R-Wallet will be able to recharge through UTC counter or www.utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in. This app will be for booking only unheardwired tickets. Passenger will not have to keep a hard copy of the ticket while traveling. At the time of checking, the passenger will be able to show the TT to the 'Show Ticket' option.
